“I really want to change our style of music. I want to be something different, really different. I want to have enough guts to do that and if it alienates people, that’s too bad. You know, not to compare us to The Beatles, but The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, bands like that went from “I Want To Hold Your Hand” to “Sgt. Pepper’s”, that was a massive progression, and I just want to experiment.” - Kurt Cobain, 1993.
This donut is oddly cathartic. I sit at this table and wash it down with crush, and it’s delicious. It’s sweet, but it’s not sweet enough to wash away the sting of rejection. The sting of being left behind. Yes this donut is cathartic, and it helps because it’s from you. There is closure in this donut, but I’m too young to know this sorrow, I’m too young to think these thoughts. Yet here I am, eating a donut, thinking of you.
This is what I get to do at work
Anonymous asked: Do you live in the states? and if so, what one?
Why do you ask, anonymous? I’ll give you a hint: the state bird is a scissor tail fly catcher. At least I think it is…. And there is a major broadway play that is sort of dedicated to the state.
Where do yooouuu live?
